AI Platform
AI Agent Engineer
Remote (US) Full-time
Build the AI agent workforce that transforms, validates, and continuously checks utility network data under senior-engineer sign-off.
About the role
Our migrations run on an AI agent workforce — agents that transform, validate, and continuously check utility network data under senior-engineer sign-off. As an AI Agent Engineer you build that workforce: the agents, the evaluation harnesses, and the platform that lets a small team move a utility off the geometric network in weeks instead of years.
What you'll do
- Design and build production AI agents for data transformation, validation, and connectivity checking.
- Build evaluation frameworks that measure agent accuracy against ground-truth utility data.
- Turn senior engineers' domain rules into reliable, testable agent behavior.
- Own reliability: retries, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop sign-off points.
- Contribute to the internal agent platform and tooling.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building software, with recent hands-on work on LLM-based systems.
- Experience designing agents, tool use, and/or RAG in production — not just demos.
- Strong Python (or Go/TypeScript) and a bias for shipping.
- Comfort building evals and measuring quality, not vibes.
- You care about correctness — this is critical-infrastructure data.
Nice to have
- Background in GIS, geospatial, or graph/network data.
- Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration.
- Open-source contributions.
